I get it. Your a small business, you have inventory, bills, employees. You gotta keep the lights on! But, he would have let me flat exchange them and kept the money had I not called him on it. Then he got real mad and said " I ain't trying to screw nobody over I'll pay you the difference". Yeah...After you get called on it. He tells me to came in and they will take care of it!

So to the positive, but you will soon see the negatives outweigh the positive. On Saturday, I didn't know this place existed. Found it on Google. I was looking for a certain type boot that most places in Russellville do not carry. My wife called, they said they had two styles in stock. Told them my size, and they said they would have them waiting. Mind you, I like to shop local and support small business. They were waiting for me 15 minutes before they closed. When we got there, I tried both of them on, picked one out, and payed. Got in and out in 10 minutes and left three minutes before they closed. Good experience.

Fast, friendly knowledgeable service with a wide variety of boots to choose from.

Fantastic customer service. No complaints at all.

Absolute best customer service around, especially old man Powell. They always make sure the boot fits to a T and their prices are cheap. They even price matched my timberland boots.

Went in today with a pair of Timderland pro's the sole had seperated on. They made it more than right. I've bought boots there for a few years but now it will be the only place I buy boots.

Call them Monday and here is where the bad starts. Talk to the "older man" and explain my problem. He tells me well we don't have another one in your size but I can swap you out another brand. Ok... He proceeded to tell me he could swap them for a Rocky Alpaha Force. I think to myself...Hmmm...They didn't give me that option, Saturday. So, I ask what's the price on those? He says, "it won't cost you anything, I'll trade them out". The entire time I'm talking to him I'm looking these boots up. I find them on Rocky's website at a regular price of $104. The boots I purchased cost $163. (Timberland Pro Valor) I ask his price again and he tells me, the same thing. I told him what I found them on Rocky's website for and he said he couldn't touch that price.

So...I drive 40 minutes back over there. Walk in, talk to the "younger guy" explain whats going on. He tells me you can always find a pair of boots 20 bucks cheaper on the internet. I said I realize that. But I find them 20 dollars cheaper from the manufacturer. I know how wholesale works. You always get stuff cheaper then what the manufacturer sells for. I explain further that I found them even cheaper on Amazon. At $83 dollars. So..Math doesn't lie. Powell's $124, Rocky $104, Amazon $83. So that's a $41 difference. I proceed to tell him, I'll take them because I needed them and I didn't mind to pay the $124. I get told No, I can't try them on. That they are not going to let me try them on and get shopped over the internet. The younger guy tells me, " we get shopped all the time, people come in, try a pair of boots on, take a picture, and walk out the door". At this point, I told him the best thing he could do is give me my money back and get me out of here. He could tell I was PISSED! So then he tries to turn on the nice guy and says stuff like "we came across wrong, have you tried this store or this one"?

My advice to the owners of this business, learn some customer service, don't let the old man out of the back because he is nothing but a hot head who's blood pressure boils if you mention the internet. And, youight start ordering off Amazon if you want to compete in today's market.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced from a local business!!

Needless to say, I won't be going back, and I advise you to stay away and spend your money elsewhere!

Fast forward to that evening. First time I try the boots on I wear them for an hour. Take them off and the zipper tears up.
